My mission here at Teen Hoot is not just to find the best teen singers from around the globe but to help you become the best singer you can be.

Since starting Teen Hoot I have seen and heard lots of exciting young artists, all very serious about fulfilling their dreams of singing their music on a global stage and sharing this dream with their fans. We've had so many artists enter our Teen Hoot contests and many hundreds more have sent their links to music@TeenHoot.com for a chance to perform at one of our Teen Hoot shows. In viewing these many video auditions I keep seeing talented young artists make simple, basic mistakes in vocal performance, and overall presentation.

At our first Hoot Camp Clinic in October, I am bringing together our top producers, writers, musicians, engineers, managers and stage advisors for one purpose, to make you a better singer, and performer. In addition we will have a management event where you can learn the contract ropes, and also learn about live gigs and how to improve your online videos. You will learn from inside Nashville's best studios and sing on the same microphones the industry's top artists use. We will cover everything from finding and writing great songs, to recording vocals and working with producers, musicians and engineers in the studio, to how to focus your performance and how to do the business of music.

Parents,

You are always welcome to attend, I encourage that. We will be holding classes for parents covering the basics, especially about the business of music. Your child has a drive to do music and there is no better time to educate them in how to do music right. And, for you, you can learn the ropes as well as the pitfalls to make you an able partner in supporting your child's dream.
